- I am currently using the demo version of ShapeShifter 3.3, installed
- on an A3000 with Cybervision64. I have setup an HD file of 50M to
- test the SS and I am *very* happy with it. I have a problem installing
- MacFinder 7.5, though.
-
- I am currently using Finder 7.0, but, since I sometimes work on a mac
- with 7.5, I decided to bring it to my A3000. I don't have a cd-rom on
- the amiga, so I created a "install diskette" set from the 7.5 cd-rom
- on the mac. When I run the installation on the A3000, the installer
- has a problem when trying to access the install 2 disk.
-
- After doing all the startup process and after installing disk 1 the
- installer pops up a requester asking for the install 2 disk. As soon
- as I eject the Install 1 disk, and put in the disk 2, it pops up another
- requester telling me that "Install 1 is not the requested disk Install 2",
- even if I actually inserted disk 2. I checked the disks. They are ok, with
- the right names and files.
- What I find strange is that the system pops up the "not the correct disk"
- requester BEFORE checking the new disk.
-
- I tried everything, starting SS with other memory options, disabling or
- enabling ADOS on the drive, disabling every Amiga-side task. No way.
-
- Is there someone who had the same problem? Any hints?
-
- Thanks in advance.
